Next Project: Gunblade*

As the title suggests my next project will be to create a Gunblade. I was suggested to take on this type of project by a fellow gamer on IRC in the official Darkfall channel. I never heard of a Gunblade, but the concept is easy enough to understand. He showed me the image on the left to use as a concept and thus I'll be using it as a point of reference.

Hopefully over the coming days/weeks I'll have some very nice updates. If you (as if anyone is actually following this blog) have any comments or suggestions please feel free write.

The Rubiks Cube Animated.

Here is a Short animated clip I made to demo the Rubik Cube.

Took me roughly 23hours to render the whole video. I am using a MacBook Pro with Windows XP via Bootcamp.

If you have any problems with the above video, I also have it hosted here on Youtube.

3D Rubiks Cube Project

My inspiration came from learning how to solve the Rubiks cube. I always wanted to be able to solve a Rubiks. I finally went out and bought one, spent a few month tinkering until I solved it. I then became interested in taking my Rubiks cube which currently sits on my desk and wanted to create something much more interesting. I thought how cool would it be if it were made out of glass, crystal, or gems. Finally I whipped open 3D Studio Max and started on my creativity.

Here are the results:
